Compound Sentences with Coordinators

Tonight, I'm very excited to write some words in my first blog.
Our professor requested us to write some sentences about attendance policies, provided that the conjuctions are used in the sentences .

1.  Mehdi cames to class late yesterday, for he didn't sleep early well last night.                                                                                    
2. Smoking is dangerous to our health, yet people continue to smoke.                                                        
3. I wanted to go the gym, but Sarah refused.                                                                                           
4. His two favorite sports are Football, and Tennis.                                                                                    
5. He doesn't eat at restaurant, nor does he cook at home.                                                                     
6. Would you eat sushis, or hamburger?                                                                                              
7. I am vegeterian, so I don't eat any kind of meat.
